WEST BEND, Wis. (May 21, 2018): The Museum of Wisconsin Art (MOWA) will host its biennial signature fundraiser event, Vintage, on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Vintage is a premier wine experience that includes tastings from world-class vintners, exceptional food pairings from leading chefs, an exclusive auction of rare wine and contemporary art, and much more. Proceeds of the event support museum operations and arts education.

“Vintage is an exquisite evening where fine art, wine, and food intersect in the most delectable ways,” said MOWA Executive Director and CEO Laurie Winters. “Over the past five years, MOWA has worked to present signature fundraiser events that are both fantastically experiential and supportive of the museum’s mission.”

Vintage takes place amidst the best of Wisconsin art, which informs the evening’s theme and style. Attendees are invited to take a ride through the galleries and explore Joy Ride: Designing Trek, a special exhibition showcasing Waterloo-based Trek Bicycle. A contemporary art auction will include works by Wisconsin artists Tom Bamberger, Craig Blietz, Beth Lipman, Wence and Sandra Martinez, Fred Stonehouse, and more.

Kyle Cherek, host of the Emmy Award-winning television series Wisconsin Foodie, will be the concierge for the evening. Cherek will work in advance of the event with Wisconsin chefs to pair small dishes to select wines. There will be over 50 wines available to taste from world-class vintners from Napa Valley to Italy. A wine auction will include over 70 rare bottles of wine and wine experiences.
