Biographical Brief

Work Experience:
Works full time in a small functioning intaglio studio, Hummingbird Press,, built by Rick, her husband, her brother Don and herself, which is located on the farm, steps from her farmhouse.
BFA in Drawing and Prints, University of Wisconsin- Eau-Claire
MFA in Printmaking from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Exhibitions: around the country in numerous juried and solo exhibits
Collections: represented in a number of private and public collections including the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee and The Woodland Project of Matyas Kiraly, Hungary.

Her work focuses on mixed media intaglio works along with mixed media drawings. The work expresses the spiritual and mystical forces that she experiences as nature. There is an inner spirit that permeates all of life and she feels a profound connectedness to this spirit. Living in rural Wisconsin gives her many opportunities to have these experiences and she believes Wisconsin is a very special place, evident by its beauty.
