West Bend
Join the Museum of Wisconsin Art (MOWA) at its annual Art & Chalk Fest—a live arts weekend on Saturday and Sunday, August 17–18 in West Bend, WI. This FREE, outdoor, live arts festival is set amidst the museum’s four-acre campus and features artists from the Wisconsin arts community.
Experience chalk artists creating large-scale works of chalk art right before your eyes, watch a glass-blowing demo in a mobile hot shop, or see clay sculpted into handmade vessels on a pottery wheel all while listening to live music. Visit the expanded Activity Zone to participate in Chalk the Street or get creative with hands-on art projects. Plus, enjoy the best of Wisconsin art with FREE museum admission on both Saturday and Sunday.
2024 Chalk Artists
Chalk Art Creations
Art & Chalk Fest brings together a diverse pool of creatives in celebration. For two jam-packed days, live art will animate the museum grounds.
Chalk artists will render amazing large-scale compositions on a 10×10-foot parcel of pavement. Stop back throughout the two days to see the creations come to life from initial sketches to full-blown ephemeral works of art.
