Bloomin' Holidays

Kick off the holidays at MOWA! The week begins with lights in the MOWA Gardens and video projection on the building. Starting Friday, enjoy three full days of floral arrangements in the galleries, expert talks and demonstrations, and an indoor artist marketplace. Bloomin’ Holidays is free with membership or $15 for the weekend (includes a complimentary membership).

Expert Talks and Demonstrations
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, November 8, 9, and 10

Drop in for fabulous floral-infused demonstrations and talks in the Hyde Gallery. Talks range from thirty minutes to one hour in length. Topics include Holiday Wreaths, Remembering Marshall Field's at Christmas, Spruce Up Outdoor Containers, Seasonal Succulents, Photographing Flowers, and more.

Bloomin' Lights
Wednesday–Sunday, November 6–10 | 5:00–10:00

Explore an interactive installation of large-scale globe lights in the MOWA Gardens. Then watch as the museum exterior transforms into a canvas for video projection—capturing the floral notes of Bloomin’ Holidays—by Milwaukee-based artist Maeve Jackson. Wander across the footbridge to downtown West Bend where Main Street will shine with lights and over-the-top décor.

Saturday, November 9 | 4:00–7:00

Shop, sip, and swoon over the sights of downtown West Bend at the inaugural Bloomin' Holidays Wine Walk. Start at the Museum of Wisconsin Art for your first taste and explore floral arrangements in the art galleries and an indoor artist marketplace. Then head to 20 more nearby destinations for wine, treats, and shopping along the way.

Registered Participants: Keep an eye out for event details in your email on Monday, November 4.  At check in, plan to bring your photo I.D. to verify your age (21+). No tickets are needed since everyone has pre-registered online. Your reservation will be held under your last name at check-in.
