Educator Open House

Educators of all grade levels and subject areas are invited to MOWA to kick-off the 2023-2024 school year. Drop in anytime between 10:00-2:00 to bolster your creativity, explore new art mediums, and connect with other educators.
→ Meet exhibiting artist and educator John Fleissner as you enjoy drop-in linoleum cut printmaking 
→ Experiment with classroom-friendly approaches to street art inspired by The Street: At the Intersection of Art and Public Space
→ Pick up free resources to inspire student learning and experience first-hand what makes MOWA such a valuable educational resource
→ Join an exhibition tour with curatorial team member, Anwar-Floyd Pruitt at 11:00
→ Enter to win door prizes including classroom essentials, art supplies, instant cameras, gift cards, and more
→ Receive a voucher for complimentary membership that offers unlimited access to exhibition openings, lectures and tours, and all that MOWA has to offer for a full year
→ Connect and brainstorm with other educators over complimentary refreshments

This event is free for all K-12 educators, administrators, student teachers, and school staff. The first 50 attendees will receive a tote filled with indulgent treats and surprises. Registration encouraged.
