Educators of all grade levels and subject areas are invited to kick-off the school year at MOWA. Engage in classroom-friendly methods of art making led by artists and art educators, discover how the museum can be a resource to you and your students, and pick up free classroom resources and connect with other educators. This event is free for all K-12 educators, staff, and student teachers. Each attendee will receive a voucher for complimentary museum membership.
FREE for K-12 educators, administrators, student teachers, and school staff. All grade levels and subject areas welcome.
Free School Supplies
The first 40 attending educators can select 10 free school supplies for their classroom.

Aaron Boyd- award-winning author, illustrator, and artist–shares his artistic process through a drop-in art making workshop.
