Educator Open House
Saturday, September 28 | 10:00–1:00

Educators of all grade levels and subject areas are invited to kick-off the school year at MOWA. Engage in classroom-friendly methods of art making led by artists and art educators, discover how the museum can be a resource to you and your students, and pick up free classroom resources and connect with other educators. This event is free for all K-12 educators, staff, and student teachers. Each attendee will receive a voucher for complimentary museum membership.

FREE for K-12 educators, administrators, student teachers, and school staff. All grade levels and subject areas welcome.

Free School Supplies
The first 40 attending educators can select 10 free school supplies for their classroom.

Meet & Make with Aaron Boyd | 10:00–1:00
Aaron Boyd- award-winning author, illustrator, and artist–shares his artistic process through a drop-in art making workshop.

Exhibition Tour | 11:00
Join visiting curator, Tom Jones, for an informative tour of Weaving a Legacy: Ho-Chunk Black Ash Basketry.
