Handmade for Home
features a selection of Wisconsin’s finest craft artists who create, by hand, unique objects that reveal their talents and passions. These objects, whether it is furniture, utensils, rugs, wallpaper, shower curtains, towels, and cushions, all find their way into homes where they become part of the new owner’s personal lives. This is appropriate as the handmade factor finds echo in the fact that the featured objects are so tactile and utilitarian. In short, they go from hand to hand, and for an artist this is the ultimate compliment: that their creation becomes a cherished part of someone else’s life.
Featured artists include: Pamela Anderson (Milwaukee), Reid Anderson (Hawaii), Reginald Baylor (Milwaukee), Patrick Burke (Newton), Jeff Clancy (Madison), Cathy and Mario Constantini (Milwaukee), Chloe Dark (Madison), Fred Fenster (Madison), Emily Graf (Madison), John Holzwart (Sheboygan), Brandon Jacoby (Nekoosa), Dona Look (Algoma), Tom Loeser (Madison), Kelly Frederick Mizer (Brookfield), Charley Radtke (Cedarburg), Michael and Elizabeth Rees (Milwaukee), Jim Rose (Kohlberg), Michael Route (Frederic), Randy Sahli (Scandinavia), Maggie Jo Sanderson (Milwaukee), Ryan Tretow (Milwaukee), Jordan Waraksa (Milwaukee), and more.
