About Art & Chalk Fest

This outdoor, live arts festival is set amidst the museum’s four-acre campus and features artists from the Wisconsin arts community. MOWA welcomes over 20,000 visitors each year. Experience chalk artists creating large-scale works of chalk art right before your eyes. Wander the museum grounds and explore live arts—fine artists will offer live demonstrations in pottery throwing, kids will flock to the balloon sculpture artists. Enjoy shopping through the market, music in the gardens, food truck alley, and participate in a community chalk project to Chalk the Street or get creative with hands-on art projects.
