
MOWA is seeking Wisconsin-based artists, artisans, performers, and food vendors to participate in the annual Art & Chalk Fest. Welcoming over 20,000 visitors, Art & Chalk Fest celebrates Wisconsin’s art and culture through unique artful experiences. MOWA encourages individuals from all backgrounds and mediums to apply. Considerations include but are not limited to creativity, originality, technique, artistic quality, and design.
The application requires at least one image of artwork/product and one image of the booth/setup. Accepted participants will be selected through an internal jury process.

About Art & Chalk Fest
This outdoor, live arts festival is set amidst the museum’s four-acre campus and features artists from the Wisconsin arts community. MOWA welcomes over 20,000 visitors each year. Experience chalk artists creating large-scale works of chalk art right before your eyes. Wander the museum grounds and explore live arts—fine artists will offer live demonstrations in pottery throwing, kids will flock to the balloon sculpture artists. Enjoy shopping through the market, music in the gardens, food truck alley, and participate in a community chalk project to Chalk the Street or get creative with hands-on art projects.
