Ignite your students’ curiosity as they explore Wisconsin art through various perspectives. Students’ creative thinking and visual literacy skills will be supported through thought-provoking conversations. Tours are led by knowledgeable docents who build upon student observations and inquiry-based activities.
University
Registration required
MOWA welcomes higher education audiences to engage with its collection and exhibitions. Tours and seminar-style classes can be designed with a curator to hone critical-thinking skills and broaden engagement with the art world. Students receive discounted memberships when visiting with their instructor.

Educator Open House

MOWA invites educators to our annual Educator Open House for a day of relaxation and inspiration. Explore our education resources, enjoy artist led workshops, and connect with fellow educators. Plus, all attendees receive a complimentary MOWA membership. This event is FREE for all K-12 educators, staff, administrators, and student teachers.

Teaching in Tandem
Teaching in Tandem invites K-12 art educators to collaborate with MOWA’s museum educators to develop classroom resources inspired by artwork in MOWA’s collection.
