Goals of the

Teen Council

  • Introduce teens to artists and art on view at MOWA
  • Highlight diverse voices and interpretations through the visual arts
  • Develop a network of peers and mentors
  • Create an inclusive social space for teens to meet and interact

Teen Programs

Portfolio Review

In this day-long workshop, university professors counsel students on presentation skills, writing an artist statement, and offer students the opportunity to have their work reviewed by peers and professionals. Ideal for junior and senior high school art students applying to colleges and universities.
