Get involved with the arts
The MOWA Teen Council empowers teens and amplifies their voices within the museum.
Council members help plan teen programming, meet artists, assist with the annual teen exhibition, gain exposure to museum careers, and connect with other teens who share a common interest in the arts.

- Developing the theme for the 2025 Teen Exhibition
- Organizing special teen-only museum events
- Promoting MOWA’s new Teen Membership program
- Meeting exciting new artists
- Creating videos in response to artwork in the collection Watch now
- Designing a collection of dry-point etchings in response to the teen exhibition
- Touring galleries and art studios during Teen Council outings

Teen Art Exhibition
The Teen Council developed the theme and title of this year’s teen exhibition, This Little Light of Mine: A Teen Perspective on Joy, on view April 27-July 21.
