To Whom It May Concern: A Teen Perspective on Human Connection
Join MOWA for the opening of To Whom It May Concern: A Teen Perspective on Human Connection, the museum’s annual teen exhibition. To Whom It May Concern encourages teen artists consider what genuine human connection looks and feels like in their lives. Organized by MOWA’s Teen Council, the exhibition recruits young artists to contemplate different contemporary issues and share their unique viewpoints. This year, students reflected on the pathways necessary for building human connection and the obstacles that stand in the way. The exhibition further challenges viewers to reflect on their own meaningful connections with the people around them.
This exhibition features artworks from 31 regional high schools. Art educators from each school selected one piece to represent their art program in relation to this year’s exhibition theme.
