It’s easy to be drawn in by Jeremy Wineberg’s large-scale works. The patterns and marks he records are his own impressions and observations of the natural world: tree rings, wind-carved canyons, cloud formations, and water currents. Wineberg notes: “I am interested in patterns of growth, decay, and turbulence…because they record a process, they register time, and they render complex form from simple, repeated operations.”
