Join MOWA for the Opening Party of Ancestral Layers, an exhibition by Wisconsin-based artist Mack Bo Ross, at 5:00 at MOWA on the Lake inside Saint John’s on the Lake in downtown Milwaukee. Stay for the Artist Talk beginning at 6:00.
The digital prints featured in Ancestral Layers reflect Ross’s ongoing dialogue with family roots, personal growth, and healing. His works blend muted color palettes and geometric shapes with accompanying poems written by the artist, why symbols of family and faint faces in the background evoke the guiding presence of his ancestors.
