Studio Class | Felted Forms
Studio Class Saturday
June 17 | 10:00–1:00
Investigate shape and texture through the process of wet felting with Wisconsin artist Tanya Steele. In this class, beginners will learn how to pull wool shingles from processed wool roving, the foundation for a strong felt textile, which will be felted and “fulled” until it is ready for shaping and sculpting into a three-dimensional form. Class may involve physical activity for arms and shoulders, as well as standing for long periods of time. All supplies included.
