The Art of Himmeli
Discover the Nordic tradition of himmeli with artist Rachael Gonzalez. Traditionally made from straw and associated with good fortune and prosperity, these geometric ornaments have also been described as “spirit traps,” believed to invite positive energy into the home. In this cozy, hands-on workshop, participants will learn the basics of constructing their own himmeli to take home—just in time for the holiday season. No previous experience is necessary.
