MOWA | West Bend

In Breaking the Cycle: Teens on Transformation, twenty-six teen artists reflect on “cycles” that limit forward momentum and growth.

MOWA’s Teen Council developed the exhibition concept with the hope of encouraging fellow teens to break from inhibiting patterns of thought, behavior, and anxieties that restrict personal growth and fulfillment. Teen Council members view the exhibition as an opportunity to spur personal reflection and transformation—concepts that apply to every stage of life. Breaking the Cycle emerges from Teen Council’s firm belief that art can be a catalyst to developing mindful relationships with themselves and their communities.
