About the Exhibition

April 25–July 27

Horicon Bank Gallery

Carl Corey makes Wisconsin-specific photographs that also mirror America at large. This body of work features Wisconsin businesses that have been in single-family control for more than fifty years; meditative studies on the traditions of family, work, and the persistence of skill, pride, and endurance in the face of a rapidly changing global economy—in short, the storied American work ethic.
