A one-night only MOWA “pop-up” exhibition on Milwaukee’s East Side on a Friday evening ponders the existence of a middle between high and low art, thanks to four artists—Wisconsin native Scott Zieher, Badger State transplant Shane McAdams, and visitors Zack Rafuls and Michael Womack. Their eclectic, multimedia installation features material collected on a frenetic trek through Wisconsin. A lively discussion about “middle” culture expands into observations about the current state of art in Wisconsin and beyond.
