Six Wisconsin photographers give new definition to the eccentric and often whimsical roadside attractions that capture our interest along interstates and highways.

Tom Bamberger’s endless stream of cars along an endless stretch of road is a digital composite of smaller photos. J.P. Atterberry searched out humorous murals that enliven the urban landscape. Carl Corey walked along and photographed the Yellowstone Trail. Suzanne Rose focused on stark gas stations and industrial buildings. Jason Vaughn found beauty in ramshackle deer stands hidden within the landscape. Mark Brautigam discovered strangeness and even humor in mundane scenes.
