Tom Loeser’s colorful and functional wooden creations are simultaneously playful and challenging.

A carver, cabinetmaker, and painter, Loeser subverts conventional notions about everyday items. Many of his innovative seating forms even restructure our relationships with one another. Loeser’s beautiful objects prompt us to question what furniture means, to think about how it scripts and organizes our experiences, and ultimately allows us to see things in new ways.
