The Art Ball

MOWA’s biennial fundraiser supporting Wisconsin art and artists.

Held at Saint Kate—The Arts Hotel, the home of MOWA | DTN, The Art Ball supports MOWA and recognizes Wisconsin artists. Guests enjoy an immersive art experience, unexpected art elements, and delicious fare. The event honors the recipient of the Hyde Award for Wisconsin Art, established in 2015 to recognize art advocates for their influence on the arts and their significant support of MOWA. The evening offers a range of worthwhile recognition opportunities. Raise the Paddle donations to support new acquisitions for MOWA’s collection.

The MOWA Contemporary

Come build or start your art collection.

The MOWA Contemporary 2022 raises important support for MOWA and its partnership with Wisconsin’s exceptional community of artists. Select works are available for purchase in an online silent auction, while a live auction takes place at MOWA’s annual fundraiser dinner.

The museum shares proceeds from sales fifty/fifty with the contributing artists. The remaining portion furthers MOWA’s commitment to the arts and culture of the state—to the benefit of artists and public alike.
