“Everything to Build With” highlights Matha’s years-long practice of gathering industrial materials and overlooked objects from thrift stores and salvage spaces. These collected items—plywood, bungee cords, buckets, and more—form the foundation of his expansive studio “catalog.” By pairing these raw materials with craft-based techniques such as knitting, sewing, and weaving, Matha creates layered visual narratives that connect the personal and the universal.
