Meditation, getting enough sleep, moving the body, and just being bored are things that can drastically reduce stress, improve quality of life, and boost creativity, but these skills need to be learned, practiced, and cultivated. In our world of constant connection, it takes effort to step away and take the time to be completely present. Dr. Constance Kassor of Lawrence University will explore what it means to unplug, think deeply, and slow down, and we’ll practice a little “doing nothing” too.
