The MOWA Contemporary 2026

Both seasoned collectors and those who simply celebrate outstanding art gather together at Wisconsin’s premier auction event. The MOWA Contemporary helps raise important support for the museum and Wisconsin’s exceptional community of artists. The MOWA Contemporary 2026 features a curated selection of more than forty works of art and art experiences by a compelling mix of established and emerging artists. Fifty percent of each sale will be given to the artist as a part of MOWA’s commitment to the art and culture of the state.

Works featured in the auction will be on view beginning Saturday, July 19, at MOWA | DTN, the museum’s downtown Milwaukee satellite located inside Saint Kate—The Arts Hotel. The biennial event itself, on August 22, includes a spectacular dinner, two art auctions, and an unparalleled evening of celebration.
