Legendary Wisconsin artist Dean Meeker’s figurative art focuses on the strengths and foibles of humankind, often drawing on biblical and mythological morality tales.

Strong male heroes such as Ulysses feature prominently, as do famous horses, real and fictional. Harry Houdini, Harlequin, and Mardi Gras have offered enduring inspiration throughout Meeker’s long, passionate, and energized career.
