Second Saturday is a lively monthly event that turns the entire museum into a destination for creative experiences. Families can explore the museum and participate in drop-in art-making activities, live entertainment, gallery tours, and more. Every month offers something new! Second Saturday takes place on the second Saturday of each month, drop in 10:00–2:00. Free for Members. Second Saturday is sponsored by the Leola Culver Family Foundation.

Celebrate care and connection through hands-on art-making. Sculpt textured air-dry clay heart pendants and fiber art statement emblems inspired by Kelly Jean Ohl and Jennifer Bastian.

March 14 | Inspired by Nature
From tiny creatures to leafy landscapes, make art inspired by the natural world and the artists who admire it.

April 11 | Pattern Play
Jump into the world of pattern while creating colorful abstract oil pastel drawings inspired by Taj Mutumbi and printing textiles inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright.

It’s never too early to foster creativity. Toddlers and caregivers explore art together in this monthly program. Each drop-in session is themed with new forms of art-making and self-guided gallery activities. Drop in 10:00–11:30. Recommended for children ages five and under. Free for Members.
